Zortacular, LLC

Zortacular LLC is the designated builder for all projects at the Village at the Bend large and small, as Trip Overholt, aka “Zortacular”, has the wide ranging skills in renovation, building and landscaping to help the village manifest itself. This has included the renovation of the Bower Airbnb, the renovation of Sparkroot farm, the building of the Sparkroot farm high tunnel, road and trail work, the construction of the sauna, as well as bike racks, privacy screens, wood sheds and decks. Zortacular LLC will build the custom homes slated for construction over the next five years – including his own.

A licensed commercial and residential contractor, Trip has been in construction, property management and development since 1998. He has also been working on the lifetime project of a retreat in Snow Camp, NC he plans to retain as an asset for the Village and “spiritual” community. He has moved 4 homes and renovated over 3.  He has onverted an old home into a yoga studio, built the first straw bale home in the modern South, built a conference center and a acation beach home.  e has owned and managed: a trailer park, restaurant building, apartment buildings, and multiple single family residences. He enjoys forestry, grading, and the construction of natural swimming pools having built four and the first in North Carolina. All of these outdoor living activities fall broadly under the category of “Dreamscaping” - which is helping others manifest their inner light in their external surroundings.

Money has never been the driving force but always a passion for serving others and for living and working sustainably.  In latter years, this passion has been matched by the thrill of our nens. We are all, already THAT!
